Suncorp Bank has partnered with Sydney-based marketing and IT company IQ Gecko to create a gift card and loyalty card platform for its eftpos terminals.
The platform, known as StickyFeet, can capture real-time point of sale customer data so that merchants can craft ongoing, profitable marketing campaigns such as customer engagement solutions.
As StickyFeet is web-based, merchants are able to log-in and set up the loyalty and gift card programs on their own.
Michael Rebiffé, sales and marketing manager of IQ Gecko said the customer details that are captured through StickyFeet allows merchants to pro-actively engage with their clients.
“Loyalty and Gift cards were previously only the domain of big companies like Coles and David Jones, but now businesses of all sizes; be it individual merchants, multi-location businesses and franchise groups can all enjoy the benefits of the StickyFeet customer engagement solutions,” he said.
Suncorp Bank executive manager channel development Paul Evans said it is key for Suncorp to be able provide flexible solutions for it s customers.
“Providing our merchant customers the ability to easily set up their own loyalty and gift card programs and market their offers to their valued customers will mean a lot for their businesses,” he said.
