Temu has opened its Temu opens local seller program to all Australian businesses.

Global e-commerce platform Temu has expanded its Local Seller Program in Australia, allowing any qualified business with locally stocked inventory to sell on the platform.

Previously accessible by invitation only, the program is now open to all Australian-registered sellers, providing a new low-cost channel to reach millions of online shoppers nationwide.

The move is expected to create new opportunities for local businesses of all sizes by offering access to Temu’s high-traffic marketplace and integrated tools for order management, shipping, and fulfillment.

Since April 2025, the platform has supported ShipStation integration, enabling sellers to streamline logistics and meet delivery expectations more efficiently.

According to Temu, over 50 per cent of new sellers make their first sale within 20 days of joining the program, which is currently active in more than 20 countries including the US, Canada, the UK, Germany, Japan, and South Korea.

Temu launched in the US in September 2022 and entered the Australian market in March 2023.

Australian businesses interested in joining the Local Seller Program can apply via Temu’s seller portal.
