The first research conducted last year uncovered the industry’s successes, roadblocks and challenges, as well as understanding what activities were considered within the scope of shopper marketing. This year, the survey is expected to provide an overview of shopper marketing, including trends and innovations.
Karan Speak, POPAI general manager, is encouraging retailers, brand manufactures and agencies to provide input on which key areas should be covered.
“Feedback will be used not only to create the next survey, but also to inform the focus of events run by POPAI and to provide direction for future case studies and educational forums,” she said.
