him! international has announced that it is returning to Australia and will launch a shopper research program in Australia in September as part of its strategy to provide convenience shopper insights globally.

Neil Turton, joint managing director, said that having recently visited Australia and attended the two AACS State of the Industry events it’s clear the Australian convenience sector is vibrant and growing at 4.5 per cent against a difficult economic background.

“We believe that a greater understanding of shopper behaviour will allow suppliers and retailers to focus investments for best return. We are excited about the potential,” he said.

him! international will interview Australian shoppers during July 2015 and present the insights at the Melbourne conference of the Australian Association of Convenience Stores in August. The AACS Convenience Leaders Summit will be held on 12 August, 2015 at the Crown Conference Centre.
