Australian fashion brand, MANNING CARTELL has unveiled its new-season collection, ‘The Impression of Spontaneity’ inspired by the artwork of Melbourne-based abstract expressionist, Kerry Armstrong.

The latest arrivals redefine femininity, blending edge and simplicity through a palette of neutrals and expressive florals in shades of peony pink, bougainvillea, white and limoncello. The collection is designed for all moments in life, transitioning from everyday wear with luxe separates and jeans to special occasions including bridesmaid and wedding guest pieces.

“We’ve been fascinated by the way Kerry captures and documents moments of raw, emotional honesty in her works. She is a creative force that is passionate about creating space for women to experiment with femininity and fashion, and celebrate memories that matter,” MANNING CARTELL creative director, Cheryl Manning said.

For MANNING CARTELL, the Artist in Residence program involves a collaboration between the design team and a local artist. Studying Armstrong’s works brings the intersection of fashion and art to the fore.

The collection is available to shop online at www.manningcartell.com.au and across the brand’s six Australian boutiques. Prices range from $199 for separate garments to $899 for dresses.
