lululemon has unveiled the world’s first yoga accessories made from Mylo™, a material that is made from a renewable fungus, with the launch of the concept 2-in-1 Yoga Mat Bag and Meditation Mat and Barrel Duffle Bag.
The development of the concept 2-in-1 Yoga Mat Bag and Meditation Mat and Barrel Duffle Bag demonstrate lululemon’s continued dedication to sustainability through the integration of lower-impact products into unique designs.
The soft leather-like Mylo™ material has been developed from renewable mycelium, the root structure of mushrooms by a team of scientists and material experts at Californian company, Bolt Threads.
Mylo™ was featured in the accessories’ detailed woven handles and braided pulls in products that are both iconic to the lululemon brand and serve a functional purpose.
The lululemon Meditation and Yoga Mat is a 3-in-1 yoga mat bag which adapts depending on guests’ needs. It unrolls into a meditation mat and can additionally be carried in two ways – completely rolled up or folded in half. Simply remove the shoulder strap, unroll the bag and use it as a meditation mat.
The lululemon Barrel Duffle Bag is ready for gym or getaway, equipped with strategically placed pockets and a removable pouch to keep workout gears separate. Features include detailed woven handles, multiple pockets including a unique slip pocket on either side of the barrel, and removable interior pouch.

The 2-in-1 Yoga Mat Bag and Meditation Mat ($329) and Barrel Duffle Bag ($429) are now available online and in select retail stores in Australia.
