Global footwear and lifestyle brand, ECCO is embarking into a vibrant new era, unveiling a fresh creative vision set to redefine the future of footwear, as the brand celebrates its 60th anniversary.

ECCO’s new look pays homage to its cultural roots, reinterpreting and amplifying them for the contemporary world. Innovation, responsibility, a people-first approach, and the democratic Danish design ethos have remained the values at the heart of ECCO for the past six decades and will continue to guide ECCO into the future.

ECCO has appointed acclaimed designer, Natacha Ramsay-Levi as the brand’s new creative partner. She commenced her journey with ECCO as a part of the At.Kollektive designers, the revolving designer-collaboration program, and is now bringing her dynamic design perspective to her captivating new capsule collection, NRL.

The inaugural collection boasts 15 distinct styles, including a monochrome heeled loafer, BIOM trail shoes reimagined as colour-block pumps, versatile walking boots, and more.

“There is a quiet confidence to ECCO, which I love. They know who they are and what they do and control how they do it. Because they have this trust, awareness, and knowledge, they can take risks. There is something special and super authentic about ECCO, I’m impressed by the way everything is done – from technical innovations to the culture,” Ramsay-Levi said.

ECCO general manager for Australia & New Zealand, Jeff Karger commented, “ECCO has always been synonymous with innovation and delivering high-quality footwear to people worldwide. We are thrilled to embark on this exciting new journey and look forward to reinvigorating the ECCO experience for our Australian customers.”

Founded by a husband-and-wife team 60 years ago, ECCO is still owned and operated by the same family, who design and create shoes for everyone in the modern family.

ECCO’s new campaign, ‘What Makes A Family’, celebrates the changing concept of family over the past six decades. The campaign features three families captured by photographer, Sean Thomas, including pro-rider and stuntman, Travis Pastrana and pro-skateboarder, Lyn-Z Pastrana with their daughters, Japanese model and actor, Kiko Mizuhara with her sister Ashley Yuka, and English singer and producer PinkPantheress with her childhood best friend, Bleona.

Coinciding with the new campaign, ECCO is relaunching 16 flagship stores and unveiling a new mobile-first website that promises a more intuitive shopping experience.
