Afterpay Day, the shopping event from Australia’s buy now, pay later platform Afterpay, is returning next week, from Thursday 19August to Sunday 21 August.

The last Afterpay Day saw more than 1.6 million global Afterpay customers. The shopping event also drove 5.8 million leads globally from the Shop Directory direct to merchant websites and drove incremental sales with an average order value of $156.

Hundreds of businesses across fashion, beauty, homewares, kids, tech and more are joining the shopping event and retailers can still sign-up to get involved. 

Afterpay retailers can sign-up to join here before submissions close on Friday 13 August at 11:59pm AEST.  

Customers will be able to head to or the Afterpay app to browse the deals.  

A recent Afterpay Financial Wellness Study revealed that Australian shoppers are more conscious about only shopping during sales (42%) and actively seeking out ways to save (50%).
