Domino’s Pizza Enterprises has posted a small rise in first half profit and says it is on track to increase full year earnings by up to 15 per cent.

Domino’s Pizza’s net profit for the six months ended 31 December 31 rose 2.8 per cent to $6.28 million, from $6.11 million in the previous corresponding period.

The company said total network sales grew to $328.6 million in the first half, up by 14.5 per cent on the corresponding period last year.

Same store sales (SSS) increased by 4.2 per cent, with Australia and New Zealand recording SSS growth of 2.2 per cent and Europe posting an increase of 8.8 per cent in SSS on the first half.

During the first half, Domino’s Pizza added 15 stores, including 11 stores in Europe and four in Australia and New Zealand, bringing the total number of stores to 756.

The company declared an interim fully franked dividend of 4.4 cents per share, up seven per cent on corresponding period last year.
