To help meet the needs of consumers searching for local businesses on the go, TrueLocal has relaunched its mobile site with a new look and enhanced search functionality.

TrueLocal found traffic to its mobile site increased 381 per cent year-on-year.

Simon Carson, TrueLocal general manager, said it was important to offer users a sophisticated option when searching for local businesses on the go.

“The mobile space is growing so fast, it’s impossible to know when it is going to stop. It now appears that there will be more internet usage on mobile devices than on PC’s by the end of the year.

“With this fundamental shift in consumer behaviour, we’re very excited to have relaunched our mobile site with more great features from the full website including the option for consumers to write reviews wherever they are, whenever they want.”
