Digital signage company LED Signs has secured a contract with shoe retailer The Betts Group to supply a customised designed display.

Richard Soussa, LED Signs CEO, said electronic signage can be used to help attract the attention of shoppers while adding to their shopping experience.

“With the retail sector currently in the doldrums, this retailer is to be congratulated on their forward thinking,” he said.

The LED Signs project management team will begin the installation of four, commercial-grade, high-resolution LCD screens at the Betts Westfield Carousel store in Western Australia. The screens will form a 1.03m x 2.23m video wall that will be controlled using LED Signs’ processing system that allows for scheduling of advertising content as well as picture in picture modes.

The Betts Group is an Australian company with four footwear brands – Betts, Betts Kids, Zu and Airflex. The company was established 115 year ago and now has hundreds of stores in major metropolitan and regional shopping centres across Australia.

In addition, LED Signs has just completed the installation of a 100 metre long sign in a Nick Scali’s Sofa’s 2 Go store in Sydney. The single line scrolling sign that wraps around the entire internal perimeter is an eye catching addition to the store.
