Infor, one of the largest providers of enterprise software, has been awarded ‘Application Vendor of the Year 2006’ at Woolworths’ Limited’s second annual IT Supplier of the Year award ceremony.
The award recognised the contribution Infor has made to Woolworths’ three-year, multi-million dollar national distribution network project in Australia which, when completed next year, will represent the largest and most complex retail distribution network in the southern hemisphere.
Infor’s Warehouse Management System (WMS) has enabled Woolworths to increase its supply chain capabilities to increase its competitive advantage across distribution centres (DC) in Sydney, Perth, Adelaide and regional New South Wales, with a Brisbane DC currently in implementation phase.
