Hypercom has announced that American merchant services provider Pivotal Payments has begun deploying up to 33,000 Optimum countertop and mobile card payment terminals to merchants throughout Canada.
According to Hypercom, over the next 36 months, the rollout will help strengthen its presence in Canada.
“We are paving the way in electronic payments and transaction security, expanding our footprint in Canada, and we are doing it with well respected leaders like Pivotal Payments,” David Cronin, Hypercom president and managing director, North America, Hypercom, said.
Hypercom's Optimum 4200 product family consists of 32-bit multi-application devices that share the same platform, user interface and software toolkit.
