The McGrath Foundation has partnered with leading fashion and lifestyle platform, THE ICONIC to launch the bespoke McGrath Pink Edit to coincide with Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October.

Exclusively featuring hues of pink from AERE, Atmos&Here and Dazie, the capsule collection has been curated by fashion stylist, Donny Galella featuring a mix of women’s pieces in sizes 8 to 20.

The campaign features real women who have experienced a breast cancer diagnosis, from Kristy who was diagnosed at 26 with no family history of the disease to 39-year-old, Amanda whose cancer is incurable but is living life to the fullest, including celebrating her 40th birthday this October.

With more than 20,000 people expected to face a breast cancer diagnosis this year, 10% of all profits from the collection will go directly to funding McGrath Breast Care Nurses who provide physical, emotional and psychological support from diagnosis and throughout treatment.

“I am a longtime supporter of the McGrath Foundation and passionate about helping people undergoing breast cancer treatment feel good. I jumped at the opportunity to style the McGrath Pink Edit with THE ICONIC to support the vital work of the McGrath Breast Care Nurses,” Galella said.

“What you wear can have a transformative effect on your mood and wellbeing, particularly pink, which is both calming and empowering. It’s also the colour of care that represents the McGrath Breast Care Nurses, and you can get behind the power of pink by shopping the McGrath Pink Edit knowing you’re making a difference.”

THE ICONIC chief commercial and sustainability officer, Gayle Burchell said, “Most people have been touched by breast cancer in some way. As Australia’s leading fashion and lifestyle platform, we are honoured to use our platform to raise critical funds and awareness to help the McGrath Foundation work towards its mission that no one goes through breast cancer without the care of a breast care nurse.

“Pink is a timeless colour that transcends trends and continues to work its way into the modern woman’s wardrobe. Whether it’s worn top to toe, or individually to add a pop of pink to an outfit, it’s fitting that pink is the colour of care – soothing, comforting, healing but equally powerful. We’re thrilled to be launching the Pink Edit as another avenue for Australians to get behind the McGrath Foundation and wear pink this Breast Cancer Awareness Month.”

The McGrath Pink Edit is available exclusively on THE ICONIC for the duration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month from 1 October until 31 October 2023.
