Australian twins and founders of activewear concept, Stylerunner, Sali Sasi and Julie Stevanja are back in business together to launch their latest venture, Her Black Book, a curated shopping and discovery app.

Nearly a decade on since shaking up the women’s sportswear market with Stylerunner, the twins bring an array of premium and luxury through to high street and aspirational brands through Her Black Book, purpose-built to provide value and convenience to time-poor shoppers and support retailers.

Her Black Book was born out of Sasi’s frustration of having to search for codes and coupons throughout her emails, links and forums, coupled with Stevanja’s frustrations as a retailer at the lack of premium affiliate options.

The app offers a new solution for the consumer to save them time and money; and retailers, a premium incentive destination that better aligns with their brand’s style and values.

Designed to attract and engage Gen Z, Millennials and discerning women who love to shop, enabling Her to discover new products, deals and promos including cashback offers, across fashion, sport, accessories, beauty, homewares, kids and travel categories.

Hundreds of brands have already signed up including Alice McCall, ASOS, Bondi Born, Calvin Klein, Carla Zampatti, Estee Lauder, Ginger & Smart, Lululemon, Nike, Sass & Bide, Tommy Hilfiger, Zimmerman and many more.

Brands can choose to partner directly via Her Black Book’s partner portal, or connect via affiliate channels, Commission Factory, Awin, Rakuten, with more affiliate partners in the works.

“Our app is built with Her in mind and led by design. Our vision is to become a staple on every woman’s phone and become the one-stop-destination that connects brand promotions and product discovery,” Sasi said.

The concept behind the app is not for retailers to offer more sales or promotions, but to ensure they are not missed.

Stevanja adds, “Promotions and sales are a necessary part of the retail cycle for most brands, and we want to help retailers reach a receptive audience exactly when they need it. Far too many brand messages are being missed by enthusiastic would-be shoppers as previously reliable channels increase in cost, decline in effectiveness, or both. Most importantly, we want to help retailers address promotional pain points in a premium environment that protects their brand integrity.”

The app allows users to download and browse offers and promotions including cashback for free, with the option to subscribe to 12 months ($24.99), 6 months ($14.99), or 3 months ($9.99) + GST for full access to flash sales listings and notifications.
