Online electrical and appliance retailer, Big Brown Box ( is offering consumers an iron-clad guarantee to match any competitor’s advertised price on a stocked item.
Together with the company’s existing policy of not charging for deliveries, the new price matching guarantee could save consumers hundreds of dollars.
Big Brown Box general manager Peter Krideras said that consumers should benefit from the savings made through buying electrical goods and appliances online.
“We believe we offer the best online shopping deals already, but this is an increasingly competitive sector, which means you have to keep on your toes and work that little bit harder at providing added value to consumers,” he said.
“Increasing competition means even better deals for consumers, so we are ready to match any competitor’s price on any stocked item, passing on the savings directly to our customers.”
Krideras said more than 850,000 online consumers had visited Big Brown Box since the company opened for business late last year, turning the site into one of the fastest growing online retailers in Australia. He said shoppers were increasingly turning to online retailers for savings on electrical products as they search for the best deals in the current economic environment.
