Little Birdie, the homepage of online shopping, has revealed that in the first three days after launch, it referred 259,000 shoppers to retailers.

The Good Guys, The Iconic, Rebel, Puma and Chemist Warehouse were named the top five retailers with an average order value of $145 and the biggest purchase, an LG OLED TV valued at $2,509.

The most popular categories were fashion, electronics and home and kitchen, with Women’s Mid Length Puffer Jacket in Blue the most popular product and AirPods Pro the most searched for product.

For launch, Little Birdie partnered with retailers on a range of exclusive launch offers with the most popular offer – the Nintendo Switch – selling out in only 37 seconds.

The data clearly shows how Little Birdie provides the storefront window that has been missing in online retail, according to CEO, Jon Beros.

“Little Birdie isn’t just a new, more convenient way for consumers to shop online, it’s also a fantastic way for retailers to reach a whole new audience of Australian shoppers. In our first three days after launch, we referred 259,000 shoppers to retailers, which is a truly amazing response from consumers,” he told Retailbiz.

“Shoppers love the brand and product discovery that Little Birdie offers, and we’re confident it will become a daily habit for many consumers. For retailers, Little Birdie is a fantastic platform to promote shopping events, as well as inspire and engage with customers.”
