Fashion retailer GUESS has given its Australian online store a makeover.
After only launching in February 2010, the online store now provides greater product offering to include watches and jewellery on top of handbags, wallets, shoes and accessories for men and women.
Speaking to RetailBiz, Simon Nankervis, Busbrand managing director, said the company received positive responses from its Australian customers that they had to ensure the online store was “first-class” for the online community.
“The revamp was brought about by the desire to ensure the Australian GUESS online store reflects the experience of the U.S site while ensuring our customers receive the best online shopping experience through enhanced functionality, easier navigation and an increased product offering,” he said.
“As a brand that is at the forefront of retailing, online is an essential component of our business. It allows customers all across Australia to enjoy the GUESS experience – especially those who cannot access a bricks and mortar store. Currently The GUESS online store performs to the level of a typical retail store and we see this as complimentary to our retail offering, not as competition.”
The website has been designed with added functionality for user-friendly navigation, including a step-by-step guide to making an online GUESS purchase with an 1800 number and email address provided for further assistance.
It also features a link to ‘The World of GUESS’, which showcases images from the latest advertising campaigns, videos of recent runways shows and provides access to the GUESS magazine, which contains all the latest GUESS news events and happenings from around the globe.
