With the increase in demand for eBooks amongst consumers, Dymocks has expanded its eBook collection by partnering with Google eBooks.

The partnership with the biggest repository of eBooks will mean customers will be able to access their eBooks on a variety of reading devices including eReaders, tablets, computers and smartphones – anywhere with internet connection or download it to read offline.

Michael Allara, Dymocks’ general manager of eCommerce, said the company has noticed a steady increase in eBook purchases over the last five years and believes the Google eBooks partnership is a natural progression.

“In addition to offering an extensive catalogue of local and international titles that will continue to grow, we’re excited to include unique added value when customers purchase Google eBooks through the Dymocks website,” he said.

“Through our highly popular Booklover’s Rewards Program, our customers will earn points when they buy Google eBooks which can then be redeemed for future purchases from Dymocks – both in store and online. We’re offering real, tangible rewards and value to our loyal readers whilst remaining at the forefront of the industry in Australia.

“We’ve also just introduced an eBook Gift Card, making it easier for people to give the gift of an eBook this Christmas. The eBook gift cards will now also enable customers to buy Google eBooks and are available in all stores and on our website.”
