Australian leader in online shopping events, Click Frenzy, will launch a new digital marketplace, offering a range of brands at great value, as well as various rewards via a loyalty program.

Click Frenzy has long been known for massive deals for limited time shopping events, but the Frenz Central marketplace will feature brands and products at discounted prices to shoppers every day and is on track to launch in the first half of 2021.

“Over many years now we have built a huge fan following of online shoppers and brands, with a proven formula of excellent savings, exciting promotions and quality products for a limited time,” Click Frenzy managing director, Grant Arnott said.

“Launching a marketplace as an extension to our events allows us to reach and reward our loyal shoppers year-round and opens up a new avenue of brands and products. We’re putting the foot down in 2021, and Frenz Central is an important part of our growth plans.”

Click Frenzy has appointed Mark Gray to lead the marketplace – one of the most experienced online marketplace experts in Australia, having worked as managing director of Australasia for ChannelAdvisor and head of marketplaces at Catch.com.au. Most recently, he worked with premium New Zealand marketplace, TheMarket, owned by The Warehouse Group.

Click Frenzy has 1.6 million shoppers on its database and the company is on track to record 30% growth for FY21 without any revenue from the marketplace. In 2020, web traffic increased 61% year-on-year, despite losing the travel category due to Covid-19.
