Online shopping site CatchOfTheDay is partnering up with actor and comedian best known for role as George Costanza on the hit TV show Seinfeld, Jason Alexander, to launch its first ever brand campaign.
As part of a year-long campaign, Alexander will appear on CatchOfTheDay’s outdoor advertising and will feature of its website in some exclusive video content and during key shopping events throughout the year.
Gabby Leibovich, co-founder of CatchOfTheDay told RetailBiz Alexander is a good representative of what CatchOfTheDay is about.
“Jason is a very well regarded and known actor and comedian and has universal appeal , which is important for us as we sell to a broad demographic. By using him as the face of our brand it also helps us to reach new audiences that may not know about us. Most people know and loves Jason Alexander,” he said.
According to Leibovich, the partnership is the company’s first significant investment into brand marketing
