Business Australia is urging business owners and managers to seek the necessary support to help them navigate the COVID-19 pandemic.

To support businesses through this unprecedented challenge, Business Australia is continuing to offer free support, but with a specific focus on navigating the COVID-19 crisis including information for owners and managers to understand their obligations as an employer.

Resources include a Business Guide to the Coronavirus, Employer Toolkit including key advice and policies to help businesses manage their people and working from home arrangements,; free access to a business grants finder to understand available financial support, updates on the latest news affecting businesses in Australia and downloadable templates for communications with landlords.

Business Australia chief customer experience officer, Richard Spencer said, “This is an incredibly challenging time for businesses in Australia. In a matter of weeks, business owners’ have had their worlds turned upside down due to the economic impact of COVID-19. It is inevitable that we will see businesses severely impacted or unfortunately close, as a consequence.

“We strongly encourage business owners and managers to seek professional advice to ensure that they have a fighting chance of riding out the crisis.
