Online shopping website BucksBack has been officially launched to allow consumers to ‘shop, save and earn’ cash rewards from over 700 online retail partners.

Free to join, BucksBack empower consumers by offering exclusive member-only deals and vouchers to buy from retailers in categories including fashion, electricals, health & beauty and travel.

Retailers available through BucksBack include Dan Murphy’s, Expedia Australia, The Iconic, Rebel Sport, Bevilles Jewellers, SurfStitch, iSelect and Westfield Online Shopping retailers, including JB Hi Fi and Ted’s Cameras.

BucksBack founder and managing director Stuart Marburg told RetailBiz not only do consumers benefits from BucksBack but retailers that participate also do too.

“The benefits to the retailers are that we drive high converting traffic to their sites – people come to BucksBack knowing they want to make a purchase and use it as a directory of stores they can get good deals at, as well as find voucher codes,” he said.

“We also bring retailers to the attention of shoppers who might come to BucksBack looking for a big name and are unaware of smaller to medium sized retailers offering what they're after. With a large reach we're able to get word out of special offers and promotions retailers are running.”

According to Marburg, many online retailers offer commissions to 'referrer' websites but much of that commissions is returned to its members on BucksBack.

“We benefit from the system by not passing back all of the commission, we pass back most, and also by withholding the first $10 of BucksBack earned members never have to pay us – if the member doesn't earn anything, they don't pay anything,” he said. “Also as we gain volume, a number of affiliates offer bonuses when sales get over a certain point, which provides us with incremental income.”
