2nds World has relaunched website to further increase traffic.
Over a third of 2nds World’s customers are already using their mobile devices to visit the retailer’s website www.2ndsworld.com.au.
The new mobile- and tablet-friendly site features a fully function and user-friendly interface including easy-to-use navigation tools to browse products, compare them and organise same delivery if they’re in Sydney.
The enhanced check out process now allows customers to also pay via Paypal or Instant Bank Transfer (via POLI), in addition to Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
“We believe in mobile shopping being a major part of the future of retailing” said Peter Hammerman, 2nds World’s managing director. “Busy shoppers can now access our online store from any web-enabled device.”
The new site also features more detailed information, videos and images of products, customer reviews and extra warranty choices. It also attempts to provide customers with an ‘in-store feel’ experience when looking for products online.
The website also automatically finds the user’s current location to calculate the shipping costs.
“Mobile shopping is not only about being cutting-edge. It’s about offering a more convenient shopping experience that matches today’s consumers’ needs,” Hammerman said.
