Zara will be among Australian and international fashion brands to open as part of the final stage of the GPT Group’s $300 million Highpoint Shopping Centre development.

The Inditex-owned retailer will join TopShop in helping deliver a greater range of women’s, men’s and kid’s apparel.
Matthew Faddy, GPT head of asset management, said Zara’s presence reinforces GPT’s reputation for delivering strong international and local retailers.

“We’re very pleased to be welcoming Zara to Highpoint and delighted to be the first Australian shopping centre owner to offer customers convenient access to international fashion giants Zara and Topshop under the one roof,” he said.

The Highpoint Fashion Mall will officially open on 14 March 14, GPT head of development Anthony McNulty said.

“The second stage of the development will deliver 1,400 square metre, two-level David Jones store, the first to Melbourne’s West and approximately 80 new specialty retailers including Australian and international designer fashion, homewares and lifestyle stores. Zara will make an exciting addition to this mix,” McNulty said.
