Wintergarden has been awarded the Property Council of Australia (PCA) Queensland Retail Property of the Year Award.

The newly-refurbished centre also won the Excellence in Marketing Award and Excellence in Presentation award for Sub Regional Centres 10,000 square metres to 30,000 square metres.

ISPT Property development director Chris McCluskey said the award cemented the centre’s reputation as a world class shopping destination and had reinvigorated the local shopping landscape.

“We’re delighted Wintergarden is continuing to impress some six months after its $100 million redevelopment and relaunch,” he said.

“Our spectacular three dimensional metal art façade is one of the most talked about features of the Queen Street Mall and our three-level layout is a remarkable achievement in accessibility.”

Wintergarden beat some tough competition to the top prize with 75 finalists across all categories.
