Westfield and Disney have partnered for a year-long collaboration in celebration of The Walt Disney Company’s 100th anniversary.

The collaboration will come to life throughout the year, inviting customers and fans of all ages to join in celebrating the milestone. Customers will enjoy their favourite Disney stories and a series of experiences in Westfield destinations across Australia and New Zealand.

We’re pleased to be collaborating with Disney in 2023 to celebrate its timeless storytelling across all 42 of our Westfield centres. We know the intergenerational appeal of Disney will resonate deeply with our customers and we look forward to welcoming fans of all ages to our destinations from this month.” 

The Walt Disney Company Australia and New Zealand vice president and general manager of consumer products, Tim Everett added: “Disney has a special place in the hearts of Australians and New Zealanders, and we’re excited to team up with Westfield to bring to life some joyful and wonderous experiences beyond the screen. We can’t wait for Disney fans, the young at heart and families to join us in this celebration and share their own memories of iconic Disney stories and characters we all know and love.” 

Following a promotion where Westfield Plus members had the chance to win one of 25 family holidays to Disneyland Resort in California including flights, transfers, accommodation, and Park Hopper Passes, experiential Disney retail pop-ups are inviting in-person access to shop exclusive Disney Store merchandise. This experience also offers shopping photo opportunities that celebrate iconic Disney moments. 

To mark the collaboration, Westfield and Disney have released ‘Your Disney Moment’, a campaign film bringing the magic of Disney to a Westfield centre. Paying homage to some of Disney’s most iconic scenes, songs and characters.

Other activations that will take place at Westfield centres throughout the year include larger-than-life LEGO installations, competitions, events, and more.
