Japanese global apparel retailer, UNIQLO will open its third Perth store at Karrinyup shopping centre on Thursday with an official ribbon cutting ceremony and Japanese drumming celebration.

It is the first store opening for 2020 and follows the opening of UNIQLO Westfield Castle Towers in December 2019.

There will be exclusive deals and gift bags upon opening with shoppers able to book an in-store styling session via the centre’s website with a stylist available during the first few weeks of operation.

The new store will offer a full line-up of LifeWear apparel for men, women, kids and babies including the Autumn/Winter 2020 range.

UNIQLO chief operating officer, Kensuke Suwa said the initial announcement of the Karrinyup location was well received by Western Australians.

“As a retailer during these unprecedented times, the ability to open at a new location is testament to our strength in providing products that are relevant and of high quality to the local customer.

“Through the opening of our third store in Perth, we are excited to be able to add around 50 new jobs to the Western Australia economy as well as make our range of clothing more easily accessible.”

AMP Capital divisional development manager for Western Australia, Scott Nugent said, “The addition of large-format international retailers such as UNIQLO to our centre will not only add to the vibrancy of the space but will position Karrinyup as the leading Perth fashion and lifestyle destination.”
