Global apparel retailer, UNIQLO will celebrate the opening of its newest store at Wetherill Park shopping centre in western Sydney later this month.

There will be an official ribbon cutting ceremony and Japanese drumming celebration to mark the opening on Thursday, 21 July. To round off the opening celebrations, UNIQLO will give away a free gift bag to the first 500 customers who spend $50 or more, as well as free donuts and exclusive opening offers.

A full line-up of LifeWear apparel for men, women, kids and babies will be housed at the new store, including the popular UT (UNIQLO T-shirt) and Spring/Summer 2022 ranges. LifeWear combines Japanese values of simplicity, quality and longevity.

UNIQLO Australia chief operating officer, Kensuke Suwa believes the new store will provide local shoppers with more variety as they look for high-quality yet affordable clothing.

“Our clothing is made with simplicity, quality and longevity in mind, and we’re excited that Wetherill Park residents will be able to access a full line-up of UNIQLO’s LifeWear apparel for men, women and kids, offered at our newest Australian store,” he said.

Stockland Wetherill Park centre manager, Michael Iraninejad added, “Stockland is excited to welcome UNIQLO to our Wetherill Park retail town centre. We know our customers are excited to have a brand such as UNIQLO complement the range of fashion and leisurewear available in the centre.”

UNIQLO Wetherill Park will be the first UNIQLO store to open in Australia in 2022, taking the national network to 26 stores.
