A third TopShop store has been confirmed for Melbourne.

With one already located along Chapel Street and the next to open at Highpoint Shopping Centre, TopShop has agreed to lease a space at Emporium Melbourne, which was confirmed by property owner CFS Retail Property Trust Group (CFX).

In total, this will mean TopShop will have secured four locations in Australia.

CFX also said “discussions with other international flagship retailers are well underway”.

TopShop and these ‘other international flagship retailers’ will be part of CFX’s $1.12 billion development of Emporium Melbourne that is expected to be completed at the end of 2013. Other already confirmed retailers include Salvatore Ferragamo, Michael Kors, Scanlon & Theodore, sass & bide and Zimmerman.

This announcement was made during CFX full-year report where the company reported a decrease in net profit of $409.2 million, compared to $532.6 million in the prior year. This was due to lower valuation increases in the prior year and the mark to market of interest rate swaps.
