Outdoor apparel, equipment, and footwear supplier, The North Face is opening a new concept store in Hobart, Tasmania.

The North Face store on Liverpool Street is the tenth concept store for the brand in ANZ and launches as a commitment to the adventure capital of Australia, for both locals and visitors. Hobart serves as a major entry point for travellers looking to explore, positioning The North Face store in the perfect place to reach customers who need to gear up for their adventures.

The brand isdedicated to setting roots in the Tasmanian outdoor space, home to some of the country’s most impressive terrain, according to The North Face general manager, Paul Karis.

“Tasmania is regarded as one of the finest destinations in the world for its extensive wilderness and outdoor activities.  We’ve long held the desire to connect directly with its vibrant and engaged outdoor community and the opening of The North Face store in Hobart brings an opportunity to do this,” he said.

“The brand has been well represented over the years by our wholesale partners Find Your Feet, Paddy Pallin and Anaconda, and we will complement what they do by bringing a wider product assortment and new categories like Snowsports to the market, to cater to a broader customer base.

“We are genuinely excited about the opening of our Hobart store and look forward to becoming a trusted and well-regarded partner to the outdoor community.”

The shop fit-out was inspired by Tasmania’s rugged mountains, alpine ranges, and temperate rainforests, inspiring customers to explore the potential offered in the region’s setting.
