Barfresh has announced the release of a new hot beverage – Hot Ones – just in time for the winter season.
Hot Ones adds a hot new category to compliment the great taste of the Smoo Smoothies, which are sold in almost 1000 retail outlets nationally including Jesters, AMF Bowling Centres, Fitness First gymnasiums and Greater Union Cinemas.
“The Smoo revolution continues with the launch of Hot Ones. These delicious warming drinks are perfect for surviving the cold weather and provide a healthy alternative to coffee and hot chocolate,” says Riccardo Delle Coste, creator of Hot Ones and managing director of Barfresh Beverage Systems.
Hot Ones come in three flavours: Honey Apple Cinnamon, Banana Caramel and Vanilla Malt. All flavours are 99 per cent fat free and high in fibre.
Like Smoo Smoothies, Hot Ones are also pre-packaged in controlled proportions in a dry sachet ensuring no wastage. Simply empty the sachet of ingredients into hot milk then blend and serve.
A low-cost product with minimum space requirements, Hot Ones have no set-up fees and require only a blender, milk heating device and the sachet to deliver great tasting Hot Ones to the consumer. The product has a 12-month life span.

Barfresh offers free marketing support and a free-on-loan commercial blender to all retailers who sell Smoo Smoothies. The blenders are pre-programmed for both Smoo Smoothies and Hot Ones. Marketing support for the Smoo Range includes posters in various sizes, table talkers, counter cards, loyalty cards and balloons.
