For the first time, Subway has brought its drive-thru restaurant format to Western Australia – marking Subway’s 34th drive-thru in Australia.
Subway director of franchise performance in Western Australia, Matt Brownhill said the new drive-thru format brings an exciting new chapter for Subway in the west.
“The drive-thru function was the missing piece in our mission to make ordering Subway as convenient as possible for our guests,” he said.
“With the drive-thru format, you can not only order your Subway favourites from the comfort of your car, but you can also Click and Collect Subway through drive-thru too.”
Before adding the drive-thru feature, Subway Falcon had been operating as a standalone traditional restaurant since the late 2000’s.
Franchisee, Luke Anderson has been the owner of the restaurant since 2021 and said the response to the new offering has been phenomenal.
“Being in front of the Miami Plaza Shopping Centre allows shoppers and locals to stop in more easily and more regularly. We’re loving seeing our regular guests trying out the new feature as well as many new customers too,” he said.
“Since launching, we’ve seen an increase in both traffic and sales which shows that when you focus on what the guest wants and how we can make the ordering experience easier for them, they are more likely to want to shop with us.”
