Australia’s number one swimwear brand Seafolly has opened its debut international flagship store in Singapore’s leading retail capital Wisma Atria.
 
It is the first of many global stand alone stores for the company, which plans to expand into the US and UK markets this year.
 
 “The demand for our products in this region is at an all time high,” says Seafolly CEO Anthony Halas.  
 
“Singapore has a 12-month summer season with swimwear weather all year round, we couldn’t think of a more fitting city to launch our first international flagship store.”
 
The Singapore fitout reflects Seafolly’s Australian stores with wooden floorboards and linear design to create an Australian beach feel.
 
International customers will be able to shop from the entire range including ladies, kids and limited edition collections. Price points remain in line with the brand’s Australian prices.
 
Since opening earlier this month the store has gained a strong following from expat Australians and has allowed Seafolly to build on the customer base from its collection at Singapore department store Takashimaya.
 
Seafolly are next scheduled to appear at landmark trade shows in Paris and Miami throughout July 2011.
 
The iconic brand was launched in 1975 and is stocked in major fashion department stores and boutiques.
