Westfield Garden City, in Upper Mount Gravatt in Queensland, has revealed the venders that will occupy its new Asian food court. The exciting development is intended to mimic the street stall setting seen in Asian cities and is complemented with two beer gardens.
The new food court will be known as 8 Street and features an eclectic gamut of classic Asian foods, according to centre manager Stuart Elder.
“There’s a strong Asian influence in our local community that we are pleased to celebrate this through the 8 Street dining precinct," he said. "8 Street will enhance the shopping experience at Westfield Garden City, not only by offering tasty, authentic Asian food, but providing the buzz of a lively marketplace to enjoy.”
Eleven launch retailers have been named and there are still two to be confirmed.

• BUN – Vietnamese cuisine
• Taste Gallery – Shanghai-style dumplings and buns
• Rice Town – rice dishes

• Madtongsan – Korean cuisine
• Noodle 8 – Malaysian noodles
• Okonomi House – Japanese pizza and dessert
• Congee Master – soup and congee
• Burlington BBQ – barbeque duck
