On behalf of its client Aigle Royal, Colliers is presenting the second stage at The Saleyard Midland for lease – a premiere Large Format Retail (LFR) development anchored by Bunnings, Petstock, Autobahn, Forty Winks, Red Dot, Sydney Tools and St John.

Colliers director of retail leasing, Hadley Missell is seeking expressions of interest from key retailers looking to situate their business in the second stage of the development.

“The Saleyard represents approximately one-third of the precincts large format retail space, anchored by one of Australia’s largest Bunnings stores. We anticipate strong enquiry through the campaign with a floorplate size to suit a range of operators,” he said.

Construction of the second stage which is comprised of 6,400 square metres of large format retail and a 420 square metre food and beverage precinct is due to commence first half 2023 with completion expected Q1 2024. On completion, The Saleyard at Midland will be one of the largest homemaker centres in Western Australia incorporating best practice design.

“The Saleyard Stage 2 is positioned in a prime location with several other homemaker centres along Clayton Street which together form a significant homemaker precinct. The Saleyard provides an excellent opportunity for such operators to enter the market, with good regional and local road access via Great Eastern Highway and Roe Highway. This is a premium opportunity to place your business within the precinct,” Missell added.

The total Large Format Retail spending generated by the expanding Midland catchment area is expected to grow by 5.8% between 2025 to 2028 and is approximately $1.075 billion in 2022, with a forecast set to reach $2 billion by 2036.
