Recognising tight household budgets and the ongoing push for convenience, Australia’s second largest pizza maker Eagle Boys Pizza has cut the cost of its pizza delivery.
Previously the delivery fee was $8 – on par with Pizza Hut’s $8 surcharge and Domino’s $4 per pizza with minimum $20 spend. But now, Eagle Boys customers will now pay $5 for delivery when they buy two or more menu-priced pizzas.
Eagle Boys Pizza Group executive marketing Christine Hooper said research reaffirmed that taste, convenience and price were the key reasons why customers chose Eagle Boys.
“Earlier this year we unveiled our revamped menu providing a range of traditional and gourmet pizzas and side orders. Now we’ve turned our attention to making it even more convenient and affordable for pizza lovers,” he said.
“As family budgets are being stretched and lifestyles get busier, we’re constantly looking to provide customers with convenient menu options that suit their taste buds, budgets and lifestyle.
