Pack & Send has announced it will be cutting its air mail parcel service costs in the run up to Christmas.
This will see customers save up to 40 per cent on selected international postage. For example, customers can save up to $27 sending a 5kg air mail parcel to New Zealand and a $35 saving to the UK.
The announcement follows Australia Post’s recent decision to increase parcel delivery prices, which came into effect on Monday 7 October 2013.
“Online retailers in particular are really feeling the pinch of Australia Post’s price increases and as a result are looking for viable alternatives for their delivery and distribution services,” said Pack & Send CEO Michael Paul who believes Pack & Send’s announcement will be welcomed by online retailers.
Last financial year Pack & Send experienced a 16 per cent growth in parcel shipments and is on track to achieve a further 20 per cent growth in parcel shipments this financial year as the demand for parcel service increases and customers and businesses seek better value.
The Pack & Send Christmas Parcel Air Mail promotion will run from Wednesday 9 October to Friday 20 December 2013.
