Oxfam Shop, which specialises in hand-crafted fair trade products, has launched its first kitchenware and homeware concept store.

The concept store at Westfield Marion in South Australia opened at the end of February.

Oxfam’s director of trading Nadine Silverberg said the store was part of the organisation’s vision of making fair trade products more accessible.

“Our first concept store includes a new layout to make it easier for customers to shop and find a quality fair trade product that appeals to them,” she said.

“We have refined the range of products in the shop, with a strong focus on kitchenware and homewares items, lovingly hand-crafted by community artisans around the world.

“Our aim is to create a unique shopping experience where people can buy these beautiful hand-crafted products while at the same time help those less fortunate than themselves, through the benefits of fair trade.”
