After seven years in the role, Sally Macdonald has resigned from her position as CEO and managing director of Oroton Group.
Mark Newman, who joined the company in April 2010 as vice president of Ralph Lauren Australia and New Zealand, will take over the role.
Newman has 25 years experience in the international luxury and apparel and accessories markets with European brands in the UK and Asia, including Richemont Group and Alfred Dunhill.
In addition this appointment, Ross Lane, who has served as executive chairman since 2006 and was previously the company’s CEO and managing director will become a non-executive director.
John Schmoll, who has been an independent non-executive director and chairman of the audit committee since 2005, has been appointed the company’s independent non-executive chairman.
Also, Eddy Chieng, who has been an independent non-executive director, has been appointed chairman of the audit committee.
