Officeworks has opened its new city concept store in the Sydney CBD as a tenant of the newly completed ANZ Tower.
Covering more than 1,000 square metres and stocking 6,500 products, the store offers office workers, businesses and CBD shoppers convenient access to the whole Officeworks’ range, including office supplies, technology products and stationery.
Officeworks general manager of property Kerry Duncan said the new Officeworks outlet brings to a total eleven stores Officeworks have opened so far this financial year, with more to come during 2013.
The building will have a 5 Star Green Star & NABERS environmental rating.
The 58,000 square metre ANZ Tower has already secured legal firm Freehills and ANZ Bank as anchor office tenants, while Officeworks will be joined by a range of other retail tenants, cafes and restaurants across the ground and lower floors.
“Opportunities like this are scarce in Sydney’s CBD and the prestigious tower development presented Officeworks with a fantastic opportunity to occupy a tenancy with direct customer access to the busy Pitt Street and Castlereagh St in the heart of the CBD retail precinct,” Duncan said.
