A brand new, world-class Myer store will open its doors on Thursday 20 November 2014 as the anchor store in the $320 million redevelopment of the Lakeside Joondalup Shopping Centre, north of Perth, in a festive opening hosted by Myer CEO Bernie Brookes and the Face of Myer Jennifer Hawkins.
MYER one members have been invited to a special evening preview of the store on Wednesday 19 November before the store officially opens the following day. It is expected that thousands of additional customers will visit the new 12,000 square metre two-level Myer store over the opening weekend.
Myer CEO Bernie Brookes said there is a great level of anticipation for the opening of the first ever Myer store in the fast-growing area of Joondalup:

We know that there has been significant community demand for a Myer store in the region, so we are delighted to be able to finally open our fantastic Joondalup store this week. The Myer Joondalup store is the first in Western Australia to offer ‘The Hub’ which provides a range of in-store services in the one convenient location including personal stylists, Shop and Drop service for parcels, gift registry, free WiFi, and a smart phone recharge station,” Mr Brookes said.
