Myer adds non-executive director to the board

Myer has appointed Anne Brennan as non-executive director, effective immediately.

 

Brennan is currently finance director at Coates Group and previous roles include chief financial officer for CSR and partner at professional services firms KPMG, Ernst & Young and Arthur Andersen.

 

Myer chairman Howard McDonald said Brennan’s extensive experience in finance and accounting is complementary to the retail expertise of other Myer board members.

 

“We are delighted to welcome Anne to the Myer board,” he said.

 

“She brings an enormous amount of knowledge and experience in the financial management of both private and publicly owned companies, as well as expertise in business strategy, information technology, procurement and the law.

 

“Anne’s skill set is well balanced with the significant retail expertise of the Myer board and we believe she will be a great asset to the Myer business.”
