Australian artisanal chocolatier, Koko Black has opened the doors to its new store in Sydney’s Queen Victoria Building in the north end, marking the company’s 19th store in Australia.

The store features a freestanding praline counter and bespoke gifting zone for team members to add the finishing touches to a Koko gift.

A large screen behind the main counter which greets customers and heroes seasonal campaign videos is complemented by the Supermint block wall which holds 84 Koko block facings. The store also incorporates Koko Black’s signature zig zag feature lighting and brass touches throughout.

“Our new Koko Black store is compact and intimate, a cosy environment to draw people in but big enough to house our full range of products, as well as our signature hot chocolate on tap,” Koko Black head of marketing, Jen Aitchison said.

“This is our second location at QVB and fifth in Sydney CBD. The new store is located on Lower Ground 1 to capture commuter traffic and treat customers who want to enjoy a Koko Black hot chocolate on their daily commute.

“Christmas is the biggest season for Koko Black and a key time for gifting. We know everyone loves to share the joy of chocolate, especially at this time of year, and spoil loved ones (and themselves). We are expecting a big Christmas as aways and the initial start to the season has been strong, as more customers pre-plan and shop early.”
