Wesfarmers has welcomed Jennifer Westacott to the board of directors.
Westacott is chief executive of the Business Council of Australia, the leading forum for the heads of Australia’s top 100 companies to contribute to public policy debate.
Wesfarmers chairman Bob Every said he was extremely pleased to welcome Melbourne-based Westacott to the board.
“Jennifer brings extensive and valuable policy experience in both the public and private sectors to our company,” he said.
“She has demonstrated outstanding leadership in refocussing and engaging the BCA on the major economic challenges facing Australia and brings particular knowledge and expertise in the important areas of economic policy, infrastructure, sustainability, and public sector policy and reform.”
