Following the launch of its ‘Be You’ rebranding campaign, Broadway Shopping Centre has welcomed the launch of JB Hi-Fi to its centre.

This makes it the A/V retailer’s 167th store, which measures 1,100 square metres.

Manuela De Rossi, Mirvac national leasing manager, said the opening of JB Hi-Fi will meet the shopping centre’s eclectic mix of customers.

““We know our customers. We conduct intensive market research to ensure we understand our customers and that the mix at Broadway fulfills their shopping needs and aspirations,” she said.

“JB Hi-Fi is a perfect example of this, being the most requested retailer by our customers over an extended period of time.”

The transformation of Broadway has also resulted in the addition of other key retailers over the last six months that includes Apple Store, Lorna Jane, Politix, Peter Alexander, Pandora and Nike.

Oxford and T2 will also be opening this December 2012 as part of Broadway’s strategy to meet the demands of its diverse and constantly growing market.

‘Broadway Shopping Centre is currently undergoing an exciting period of transformation and renewal,” Adeline Chin, senior marketing manager of Broadway, said.

“The centre is realising its place as one of the most successful shopping centres in Australia. Our BE YOU rebrand, in addition to improvements in our retail offer and our plans to reinvigorate the ways we use our mall space will dramatically change our shoppers’ experience at Broadway.”
