Jaycar Electronics has opened two new stores in two months – one in Western Australia and another in Victoria.
For the Australian-owned company, this marks six new outlets since January 2011 and takes its retail footprint up to 75 stores across Australia and New Zealand.
“These stores are opening due to a big demand for our products across Australia and New Zealand,” Murray Roberts, Jaycar Electronics marketing manager, said.
“Our emphasis this year is to continue to grow the business with plans for further stores before the end of the year. We’ll also be relocating some of our smaller outlets to bigger sites as they are bursting at the seams.
Jaycar has experienced substantial growth with seven store openings in 2010 and is on track to achieve more in 2011.
“We’re constantly looking at what new products we can offer our customers as well as improving and upgrading our older products,” Roberts said.
“Jaycar Electronics is moving full steam ahead in this landmark year and we’re even more excited about what the next 30 years will bring.”
