Despite the current economic climate, Jaycar Electronics recently opened its 56th store in Mackay, Queensland.
Mackay store manager, Merlin Zener, with more than 29 years experience in retail electronics, says he is looking forward to developing the new store and working alongside his staff.
“Working for Jaycar Electronics enables us to interact with customers and pass on our own knowledge and ideas. It is satisfying to help people complete their do-it-yourself projects and then see the results,” said Zener, who has worked for the company for the last four years.
The new store, which has been completely refitted, is located at 88 Sydney Street (corner of Alfred and Sydney Street) Mackay and will be open seven days a week.
