JAX Tyres & Auto has opened a new store in the historic automotive town of Bathurst in NSW. Opening its doors at 77 Bentinck Street, the new 1,088 square metre store includes five hoists with the ability to service up to 30 vehicles a day.
JAX Bathurst is delivering new job opportunities with plans to more than double the initial team size, filling roles such as apprentice mechanics, tyre technicians, wheel alignment technicians, mechanics, salespeople and store managers.
JAX Tyres & Auto CEO, Steve Grossrieder said, “Bathurst has been in our sights for a long time, and we are extremely excited about the opportunity to bring peace of mind driving to a town and community with an unparalleled passion for motorsport and automotive.”
Supercars’ and Team 18’s driver, JAX ambassador, and 2017 Bathurst Supercars champion, David Reynolds, added, “As a town that will always have a special place in my heart, I’m stoked to be part of the JAX team joining the Bathurst community.”
