For the first time, IKEA for Business is partnering with the NSW Small Business Commission’s Small Business Month 2023, running a series of free events during October in NSW IKEA stores to help local small businesses focus on interior design.
Through the IKEA for Business loyalty club, IKEA Business Network, IKEA can help small to medium sized businesses gain access to interior design experts to create inspirational, functional, and affordable solutions built specially for businesses. From small-space offices to chic cafés, or a minimalist-style nail salon to modern hostels with a twist, IKEA for Business offers inspiration and assistance.
IKEA Australia business specialist, Matt Ford said, “IKEA Australia’s support during NSW Small Business Month is not just about furniture; it’s about furnishing opportunities, fostering growth, and building a brighter future for our local entrepreneurs. Afterall, IKEA is the home for small business.
“During our in-store events in NSW, our focus is helping small businesses with their branding; highlighting how interior design helps in building brand identity, engaging customers and supporting employees returning to the workplace.
“Attendees will have access to conversations with IKEA interior designers and small business owners that have experienced positive growth and customer engagement through using the IKEA Business Network Interior Design service. They will also have the opportunity to network with other local business owners and build relationship to help grow their business.”
The free IKEA Business Network events will be held at IKEA Tempe, Rhodes and Marsden Park, with a focus on how interior design helps to build and support brand identity and awareness. The events are open to anyone who owns a small business or are planning to start one.
IKEA Rhodes: Wednesday 18 October 2023, 8am – 10am
IKEA Tempe: Wednesday 25 October 2023, 6pm – 8pm
IKEA Marsden Park: Tuesday 31 October 2023, 8am – 10am
